On “L’Estello”, boarding starts at 6:00 pm, with departure at 6:30 pm. The operating company cannot delay the departure of the restaurant boat except by decision of the captain.
2. Passenger obligations:
From the moment they are invited to board, each passenger must immediately and strictly comply with the orders given by the boat’s crew, who are themselves trained and remain under the responsibility of the captain, and will be required to ensure their own safety and that of the persons for whom they are responsible and/or the property (clothing, luggage and other personal belongings) of which they are the owner, holder or guardian; in particular, each passenger is prohibited from entering the unauthorized areas of the boat, including the engine room, as well as the wheelhouse, the office, the kitchen and other areas reserved for the crew.
No animal or equipment that could prove dangerous to the staff or passengers will be allowed on board the boat. S.A.R.L. Nouvelles Rives disclaims any liability for any damage of any nature, in particular fire and/or theft capable of affecting the objects or equipment on board, or for damage to the clothing, hand luggage or other equipment (such as cameras) of the passengers. S.A.S. Nouvelles Rives reserves the right to charge the customer for all material damage caused on board by the customer or any other participant of the group. S.A.R.L. Nouvelles Rives also disclaims any liability for any damage of any nature resulting from the use of low-voltage (LV) and extra-low-voltage (ELV) power supplies not previously authorized by the boat’s services. In the event of a commercial or private event organized by the client aboard the «Calife» or in the vicinity of the vessel, we reserve the right to require the client to justify their official authorization with the competent authorities. We reserve the right not to accept any aesthetic or other «deviations» that do not correspond to the ethics and/or the environment of the boat Le Calife, which is moored at a historic site protected by UNESCO as World Heritage and by the Monuments historiques of Paris.
3. Table allocation on board:
Table allocation is made by the service provider and no specific location can be confirmed, chosen or granted in advance, nor can it constitute a commitment or contract of any kind. Assigned tables cannot be changed. No discount, compensation or refund will be made in the event of cancellation by the customer in relation to the location of their table.
4. Minors under 16 years of age:
Nouvelles Rives reserves the right to refuse boarding to minors under 16 years of age who are not accompanied by an adult. Minors under 16 years of age are entirely under the responsibility of an adult who accompanies them.

6. Animals
Small dogs are welcome on board “Le Calife” and “L’Estello” provided they stay lying down, on a lead, under the table and under their owner’s supervision at all times. Animals that are disruptive, noisy, not house-trained or not perfectly well-behaved will not be admitted on board, and the cost of removal may be charged to the owner. Using the cutlery, napkins or any other Calife equipment intended for guests is strictly forbidden for animals.

From 2.30 m to 2.60 m, navigability is at the captain’s discretion depending on the risk of a rapid rise in water levels. Above 2.60 m, navigation is no longer possible.
IV. Prices
The prices charged by Nouvelles Rives are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes, and are fixed on the basis of the tariff conditions in force on the day of booking, which are available upon simple request from the customer. They are subject to the statutory VAT rate in force and may be revised without notice, particularly in the event of the introduction of any new taxes or charges and/or any modification of existing taxes or charges that would involve a readjustment of prices. Since the rates and conditions have been previously fixed, no modification of these rates can be negotiated subsequently.
V. Security
For security reasons, the boat is equipped with a video surveillance system. The storage of the images does not exceed twenty-one days. The images remain strictly confidential and are used solely to ensure safety on board the boat and the smooth running of the cruise.
VI. Responsibilities
Nouvelles Rives is committed to ensuring the proper execution of the reservations made. Nouvelles Rives declares that it holds an insurance policy guaranteeing the financial consequences of its civil liability for bodily or material damage caused to third parties, contracted with a company known to be solvent. However, in the event of force majeure, Nouvelles Rives will not be liable for damage to passengers or property during a cruise, if such damage is caused by one of the following causes: war, catastrophe, sudden flooding, attack by a third party from within or from outside the ship, collision not involving its liability and any other unforeseeable event. Nouvelles Rives disclaims any liability in the event that the customer fails to comply with these general terms and conditions of sale and the general and specific regulations, without prejudice to the damages it may claim for the loss and harm it has suffered as a result of such non-compliance.
VII. Applicable law – dispute
In the event of disputes or objections, the French courts are the sole competent authorities and the French laws are the only ones applicable.
Disputes arising with our customers registered in the Trade and Companies Register shall, failing an amicable settlement, be submitted to the Commercial Court of Paris. In the event of disputes, Nouvelles Rives will refer to the law of 13 July 1972 and Decree No. 94-490 of 15 June 1994, applicable from 1 December 1994, governing tourism activities in France.
